#Film meets Art# Use Light and Shadow to Composite

HUE/SATURATION/BRIGHTNESS Johannes Vermeer

What I get in vermeer's painting is about using light to composite. I always just use the whole characters and scenery and items to composite but now I find I can use light to cut the whole characters or scenery to shape what I want.(1-1)=> (1-2)
The characters and scenery are bathed in the extremely pure side light.
The regular triangle, inverted triangle and "X" shape composition, the entire picture forms a rigorous and harmonious balance. The composition and layout of the entire painting has been arranged by Vermeer: the lights next to the window and the bamboo and rattan basket are placed in the blank space in the upper left corner of the picture, which contrasts with the blank space on the right side of the figure. At the same time, a white headscarf and a white wall echo, a yellow top and tan bread are reflected, and a dark green tablecloth contrasts with a dark blue apron. The picture runs from left to right, from top
And through the underside, the strong texture and solid structure are exposed everywhere.
